2008
The International Wine Festival IN VINO 2008 is a three-day festival and it is
held every year in the early spring. The Festival is attended by several
thousand merchants, restaurant professionals, experts and wine lovers from the
entire region. IN VINO is organizing the Festival in the cooperation with
the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Services and the Ministry of Agriculture of
the Serbian Government, the Tourist Organization of Serbia and the Belgrade
Chamber of Commerce.

KRUSEVAC, SERBIA (June 6th - 7th, 2008) - Festival of Serbian wines "VINOVDAN" (WINES DAY)
Festival of Serbian wines VINOVDAN (WINES DAY) will be organized in a BID
(Business Improvement District) of Krusevac (Majke Jugovica street), as well as
in the biggest hotel - RUBIN.The whole idea is to promote the best Serbian
wines and the Serbian wine culture in a way they deserve it regarding high
quality, at the place bearing traditional values. Winemaking expansion in
Serbia in a last few years is undisputable, so this would be the best way to
show the achievements of the Serbian winemakers. The number of exhibitors is
limited, because the VINOVDAN (WINES DAY) will try to show only the best Serbian
wines (no more then 40 exhibitors, with more than 100 wines).
During the Festival we are planning to have a few lectures, new wines
promotions, charity auction of the special wines,... We are expecting a good
number of people connected with wine business: tradesmen, dealers, hotels and
restaurants.

NOVI SAD, SERBIA (October 9th - 12th, 2008) - 45th International Fair of Food
and Beverages 2008
One of the oldest fairs at the Novi Sad Fair – the Fair of Food and Beverages,
which has been a member of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI)
since 1978, will again this autumn gather producers of food products who will
have the opportunity to present their achievements and novelties in the field
of food and beverage production, as well as to present themselves on the
Serbian market.

TWO HARBORS, USA (September 9th, 2006) - Stara Sokolova Won The
Gold Medal
Best wood-aged Slivovitz – Stara Sokolova 7-Year-Old Slivovitz. Out of 27
entries “Stara Sokolova” received the prestigious Gold Medal.
The U.S. Slivovitz Festival was created by the Brothers Radosevich, and has
grown with into the premier Slivovitz Tasting event in the world. The Festival
is held in Two Harbors, Minnesota, on the first Saturday after Labor Day, which
is the first Monday in September. It's hosted by Radosevich's Earthwood Inn,
and it's an ISTA sanctioned event.

NEW YORK, USA (July 8th - 10th, 2006) - 52nd Summer Fancy Food Show, Jacob K. Javits Center
Our International Sales Representative attended this prominent event.
At
the Food
Fair, the total of 18 Serbian companies realized record sale and, within
only three days, signed contracts whose total value amounts to about 6.5M USD.
Their appearance was financed by the
Ministry of Agriculture and backed by the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) and
United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The companies displayed their products in the special pavilion Serbian Fruit,
which drew attention of exceptionally big number of foreign buyers, especially
interested in forest mushrooms and truffle, jams, ajvar, raspberries, plum brandy and wines
from Serbia.
The following companies from the Republic of Serbia presented their production
program at the Fair in New York: Agranela, Agrokula, Arex, Aroma, As
Group, Foodex, Foodland, Igda, Interfood, Marni, Navip, Nektar, Malina Produkt, Pionir, Sirogojno, Stara Sokolova, Wolf Export
and Zadrugar.

Fancy Food Show in New York have attracted from 19,000 to 32,000 attendees
from specialty food, wine, gift and department stores, supermarkets,
restaurants, mail-order and other related businesses. |

71st International Agricultural Fair
International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad is the oldest and biggest fair
event in Serbia. It is a gathering place for more than 2,000
exhibitors of food, beverages, agricultural mechanization, livestock and
packaging from Serbia and 60 other countries as well.
