NOVI SAD, SERBIA Mart, 7, 2006) - MB Beer factory in Novi Sad opens the
largest beer saloon in South Eastern Europe - 2200 guests capacity Novi
Sad Beer
Factory MB, the most modern in the region, will open on March, 8th, the
largest beer saloon in South Eastern Europe, which will be on the first floor
of the Mega market in Novi Sad. The beer saloon was made in the unique rustic
style, with even 1.250 seating and around 1000 spots for standing.
The beer could be drank within the factory as well, which is supposed to
produce this year around 5 mil hectoliters of beer.
MB beer (MB Pivo) is at the moment exported to 15 states, and in order to
maintains the quality of all materials that are imported are mostly from
France.
Pivara MB (Brewery MB) is the youngest brewery and one of the modern
breweries in Serbia. It started its production in 2003. |

CELAREVO, SERBIA (December, 12 2006) Carlsberg Srbija Obtained Two More
Certificates - ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 Company "Carlsberg Srbija" received
ISO 9001 certificate for the Quality Management System and ISO 22000
certificate for the Food Safety Management System, which is the first of the
kind in Serbia.
The General Manager of company "Carlsberg Serbia", Isaac Sheps, explained that
the ISO 9001 certificate was the first of the kind to be presented in the beer
sector, while ISO 22000 certificate was the first in Serbia and he added that
the latter was even stricter than the HACCP standard, which is allotted for the
survey of critical phases in food production.

Selection in Brussels 2003 - A Gold medal for quality for Trebjesa Niksic best
known product "Niksicko pivo", it
was stated at a news conference in the
Trebjesa Brewery. Assistant
Director General of Trebjesa Brewery Niksic Vesko Bozovic said that the Trebjesa
Brewery has produced in the first six months this year 570.000 hectoliters of
beer. |
